Halifax to San Jose including Spanish Homestay
The winds are warm and the smiles are too. I have, after storm delays and standbys, arrived in Alajuelea a small town near the capital of San Jose.
I await my ride to the ESI Language school where I am about to begin 10 days of "intesive estudio". I will shutter at that quote a week from now.
The central park was full of families on Christmas day srolling about couple arm in arm and children indulging in huge chocolate ice creams. Not a turkey leg in sight. The huge trees around the parks edge were in consatnt motion as the warm winds push the humid air in every increasing circles up from the square. Family still reins supreme here with un divided attention to children and a genuine sense of belonging to a place. OFF TO SCHOOL!
